The Records Section is in charge of records management for the Police Department. Section responsibilities include the processing of all offense and incident reports, accident reports, arrest and prosecution reports generated by the Police Department. The Records Section also prepares statistical reports such as the Uniform Crime Report for the state and FBI, and departmental monthly and annual reports for local use. Requests from the public for copies of reports are handled by records personnel between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

The Records Section is dedicated to providing professional service to citizens in a helpful and caring manner. The accurate and timely processing of all reports and requests for service is a priority for Records Section personnel.
