This unique social and shopping experience was launched a few years back by Bowie Community Development as a compliment to special events or festivals.  These evenings are normally on a Friday night before a festival.  Participating businesses serve up tastes of wine and munchies, plus special sales, while guests purchase an armband and receive a Sip & Stroll wine glass.  Guests also can use a previous glass, but need an armband.  Folks stroll the downtown area, shop, meet the business people and enjoy the fun.
